Filming “Caprices” and Starting Work on “Love Parade”

Last weekend, I traveled via train to Campbell Hall, NY to shoot Caprices: Lyrids and Lightning,” the anthology film in which I was cast recently. It was wonderful to see a little bit more of the state after spending almost every day at my home in LIC! It was also great to delve into my character in this lyrical, mysterious short and shoot at a barn/antiques store. I loved working with Evening Crane Theatre and was glad the set was very COVID-safe.

Being a train nerd, I also enjoyed seeing the view from the beautiful Moodna Viaduct from the train home, although my husband pointed out I was probably the only one who was excited to see it.

I’m also happy to announce I’ve been cast in Justin Vibbert’s Love Parade, a full-length play about a very dysfunctional family, to be performed June 24-27 as part of the New York Theater Festival. I play a prickly, buttoned-up woman pushing her fiance to win the approval of her father. I’m excited to play this role, a little different from my typical ingenue fare.
